Black and White: A Colorful Social Experiment in Crime
Today’s bail bond blog is about a recent social experiment conducted by a group called “Simple Misfits.” They staged two fake auto thefts and videotaped them both to see if there would be a different reaction from people walking by and from local law enforcement.
The result, the white perp tried for 30 minutes to break into the parked car with the alarm going off and no one seemed to notice or care. At one point a police car even drove by and did absolutely nothing. Enter the black dude. He tried to break into the same parked car and within 2 minutes, the police arrived and arrested him. Is this a case of colorful justice or a case of the Simple Misfits doing some colorful video editing? What do you think? Watch the video below.
