How long does it take for someone to be released once a bail bond is issued?

How long is a bail bond in effect?
The premium paid for a bail bond is good for one year from the date it is issued. A bail bond is considered completed (exonerated) when the defendant is sentenced, fined or the case is dropped and charges are dismissed.
