Thanks Mom: Mommy Turns Narc to Save Her Daughter
Friday, January 23, 2015
Should businesses and corporations offer daycare for their employees children? Many large companies in big cities offer an entire floor on their building for daycare. In Utah school districts, a few classrooms are dedicated to daycare for their teachers. If you are a working mom in today’s hectic world, then you will want to read this next bail bond blog post and this mom could have benefited from McDonald’s offering daycare to help her out. It has to do with a recent story about a mom who was arrested and put in jail in lieu of a bail bond for letting her 9 year old daughter play at a park.
This past week, a single mom in North Augusta, Georgia was trying to do the right thing with her daughter and ended up in jail needing the services of a bail bondsman. What do you think should have happened?
According to local reports, the mother who works at McDonald’s would bring her daughter to work with her and let her surf the internet while she worked. Since her daughter was out of school for the summer, it was a creative and affordable way to keep her daughter out of trouble. The plan was working fine until their house was broken into and the computer was stolen. The daughter asked if she could go to the park and play while the mother was working instead of just sitting inside all day surfing the internet eating Big Macs (by the way, just for the record, if you are a parent, there is nothing more you want than your kid outside playing as opposed to inside playing video games). The mother agreed and dropped her daughter off at the park before work each day. She gave her a cell phone in case she needed anything or got into trouble. The plan worked fine until another mother found out what was happening and called police. The daughter has since been placed in protective services and the mother thrown in jail.
