Luckily, at Frank Calabretta’s Bail House we offer 24/7 bail bonds so that you can assist your loved one any time of day or night with convenience.
Most people who are arrested want to use their phone call to telephone a friend or family member and get the process of bail started. By posting bail, you can help get them out of jail typically within a few hours with an anytime bail bond.
In California bail is either paid in cash, property, or with a bond that is given to the court by the person charged with a crime. This secures their release until they are needed back at the court for their trial.
Bail is different from a fine in that only if the defendant fails to appear on their court date, do they forfeit the whole amount. If they show up to trial on their scheduled date as planned, whatever the outcome of the case, the bail amount is returned except for a minimal processing fee that is charged.
At Frank Calabretta’s Bail House we knew from the beginning that we wanted to be a reputable and discreet bail bond company, serving our clients 24/7 and providing anytime bail bonds for maximum convenience. Many arrests occur at night, outside of business hours, and as such we have always made it a priority to offer anytime bail bond services to meet those needs.
Although you can help bail a friend or family member out of jail at night, it may still take a few hours depending on several different factors:
1. The number of defendants at the jail during booking. If the jail is having an especially busy night and many defendants need to be processed, it may take longer than average to bail your friend or family member out since there might be limited resources to process everyone simultaneously.
2. The amount of staff available. Sometimes at night there is a more limited staff than during business hours, though jails will still have the necessary employees to maintain and complete basic processing. If employees are out sick or there are fewer staff members working for some other reason, the bail process may go a little slower than usual.
3. The time it takes to complete paperwork. Each defendant must be processed into the system, and quite a bit of paperwork goes into that process. Officers have to make sure the defendant does not have a second arrest warrant pending or other criminal charges and must complete standard paperwork, take mugshots, and book each defendant into the system.
At Frank Calabretta‘s Bail House in Placer County, we are professionals and can easily explain the bail bond process to you as a friend or family member helping the accused get out of jail quickly and easily. If you have any questions about obtaining anytime bail bonds for friends or relatives, we are happy to help.
