It’s no secret that I just re-opened my Facebook Page (remember to click like), Frank S. Calabretta’s Bail House Bail Bonds!  to help promote my business and educate the public on the bail bond industry as a whole but beware that what you post on Facebook could end you up in jail — literally!

Facebook Felonies: Too Much Testosterone or Too Little Brain

Beware of Greeks bearing gifts!  If you know where this phrase comes from than you probably paid attention in high school Humanities class.  If you have no idea what we are talking about, than you should probably read this next bail bond blog post.  If you do, than you should still read it because we think you’ll like it and want to share it…we hope.

This past week in New York, another criminal was brought down by Facebook.  This time police took a page out of Greek history and planted a sort of Trojan Horse of their own on Facebook.  However this Trojan Horse was really more of a Trojan Hottie.  According to authorities, police were not having much luck finding a teenage robbery suspect.  In order to draw him out, they planted a profile of an attractive female on Facebook and tried to friend the suspected teen.  Before they knew it, the teen accepted the friend request, chatted and flirted with the young woman and then ultimately agree to meet her.  As you can imagine, police were waiting and he was apprehended immediately.

The teen is wanted for at least two robberies and maybe more.   This isn’t the first time that law enforcement has used a young man’s testosterone against him and it probably won’t be the last.  Read the original story below.
